I know that part of this blog's mission is for reviews of reasonably priced kits, but I rambled over to the official Lego® store, and saw this exclusive:
Oh. My. Goodness.
The Sopwith is one of those quintessential plane designs, and even though the actual plane was only popular / favorably viewed for about 5 years (though it remained in use through 5 engine revisions throughout the world). Iconic, for sure. It spurned a rock band!
Anyhow, about the kit. I love the strings, and the piece count is pretty high, meaning this'll be a build to remember. If I can scrape my pennies together, I might seriously consider picking this up!
