FAQ

1. Who are you?

My name is Jesse, I am an IT guy in Baltimore, MD, USA. I like blogging, computers, and lego. My favorite meal is steak and asparagus, my wife's name is Laura, and my dog (who I think is half lab, half Great Dane) is named Ganon, like from Legend of Zelda.

2. Lego? Really?

Sure, why not? The older I get the more convinced I am that the simple things in life are the best. I've toyed with the idea of starting another blog about projects for kids, because honestly, the stuff I did when I was a child is still fun now. I'm sure that kids would enjoy wine tasting and football games and whatnot, but when I was younger, building, creating, imagination, and friends were all great. My parents taught me about nature, electricity, and all kinds of other practical things through toys, and inexpensive projects.

Lego is, at its simplest, a platform to build. Putting things together, following a plan, and seeing a finished product is one of life's simple pleasures!

3. How do you get the money for these Lego kits?

I spend as little as I can, and look for sales, and ways to get things cheap. I also re-sell my kits (if I don't display them, or put them in my cube at work!) to recoup some of the costs.

4. Why are there ads on your site?

I hope that I haven't offended you with ad placement. I have pared them down to a point where I feel like they can be ignored, if need be. I do not want to become rich from this site, that is not my goal. However, if I make enough to buy a kit... Thats a different story!
